This is FIU’s new and improved SCUBA Diving Club, the Scuba Cats!

Into new depths and direction since Summer of 2010 by master diver and founder Denny Carvajal. Now Under new direction of Master diver Sebastian Usquiano!


The club is a portal to the underwater world! You can meet new dive buddies with whom you can plan and execute dives via our club’s facebook page and general meetings. To reduce the cost to all SCUBA Club divers, we provide special rates to our divers for both charter & equipment rentals. We also engage in beach dives when the conditions are right.  Our focus is recreational reef, beach, and wreck diving. Special groups may organize to Spearfish, catch lobster, night dive, and practice their underwater photography skills.

Last Dive of Spring

Hey Scuba cats the last dive for the spring semester is here “Wreck Trek after Finals” I’m sad to say that this semester has come to an end, but new semester begins check out our summer schedule.

For the last dive of the Spring Semester we planned a great adventure to the underwater world, with the C-One wreck trek adventure were you navigation skill will be put to the test (Don’t be afraid this dive is for all Levels), and a beautiful dive in the deep trench. for more info click here.
